What is the cRc?
The Colorado Retail Council was founded as a
not-for-profit organization in 1966 by a group of concerned retailers
that desired a stronger voice in the government law-making process.
Four decades later, the mission of the Colorado Retail Council
remains the same: to promote an environment that encourages profitable
retail growth through strong advocacy on government actions and
superior services to our members.
The cRc serves as "the voice" of Colorado's retailers at the Colorado State Capitol in Denver. Because scores of bills that directly affect retailers are debated by the General Assembly each year, your cRc lobbyists are at the State Capitol each day to ensure that legislators hear the retail industry's point of view. We work with these lawmakers and representatives of the Administration to ensure that your interests are protected. We would be happy to answer your questions regarding pending legislation, current laws and rules that may affect your business.
